Why should I be a volunteer?
In order for Xtra Miles to operate as it does, and support as many people as we do, we are highly dependent on the work of our volunteers. Being a volunteer bears a lot more responsibility and pride than simply having the title. The work done by a volunteer can at times make the difference between life and death for the person behind a case, as our volunteers work on individual cases, with the aim of helping out an individual or a small group of people, instead of a large-scale or general issue, where it at times can be hard to evaluate ones own importance in the matter.
If you want to start making a concrete difference and lend a hand to people in your local community, or internationally who need your support, then joining our team of volunteers is the perfect opportunity for you.
